History of the Firm
In January of 1965, law graduate, Dr. Hugo Larrea Romero, opened his first legal office in the city of Guayaquil, on Illinworth 114 between Malecon and Pichincha Street, after having spent more than two years in the position of Main Chief of Labor. Dr. Larrea Romero remained at this location until 1970 when he was named minister of the fiscal court within the Supreme Court in the capital, through 1978 when Dr. Larrea Romero was named Intendant of Companies of Guayaquil, a position he held until 1979. At the end of that year our firm opened its offices in Guayaquil again.
In this, our second time in Guayaquil, through 1990, we added associates to our firm, including Elsie and Ana María Larrea and with these new additions, we were able to specialize in collective bargaining conflicts on a broader scale for multinational companies and provide legal advice to these companies for claims to state government.
